This page features samples of mind maps, brochures, leaflets, itinerary, wordle and posters to give you some ideas to get you started. You will be expected to create these as well this term somewhere along the process.
Samples of Mind Maps (Individual Project)
The following features some samples of mind maps gathered from the Internet. This will give you some ideas to get you started working on your own mind map pertaining to our theme for this term, that is "Holiday". While there is no right or wrong answer in this, please do bear in mind the standard guidelines that teacher has explicitly explained before in creating a mind map. Nonetheless, this is also a time for you to show us your creativity!
Samples of Itinerary (Group Project)
As part of the Group Project in Holiday Planning, one of the tasks involved is to create an itinerary using either Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher. The samples below will give you an idea how an itinerary looks like. However, use it as a guide only. You are allowed to amend and create your own itinerary as you deem fit. You are however strongly advised to include relevant pictures in your itinerary.
Samples of Brochures & Leaflets (Individual Project)
One of the individual project for this term is the creation of a brochure or a leaflet. You are given the choice to choose either one. For this purpose, you may use either Microsoft Word or Microsoft Publisher to complete your task. As a general rule of thumb, the brochure or leaflet that you will create should follow what your group has done earlier on during the "Holiday Planning Power Point" Group Project. Meaning to say, for example if your group has chosen Singapore as your holiday destination, your brochure or leaflet should be on Singapore, because by now you would already have a good idea about that specific country to start working on it. However, if there is a need for you to select another country, please speak to the teacher first. Below are some samples to get you started.
Samples of Wordle (Individual Project)
In addition to the brochure or leaflet, each student is to create a Wordle based on the country selected. The Wordle must reflects the essence, the uniqueness or the culture of the country. You are given the option whether to include this Wordle inside your brochure or not. Nonetheless, each student must submit his Wordle electronically to the teacher through this website (i.e. via the 'Submit Project' link from the navigation bar above). Shown below are some samples of Wordle on Brunei Darussalam.

Samples of Posters (Individual Project)
Depending on the availability of time remains as we are now on the final term of the year, you may be required to complete an individual poster to promote 'Brunei Darussalam as an Ideal Holiday Destination'. Here are some ideas that may serve as a reference for you in your own creation process. Please refer to the Project Guide for further information. Originality and creativity are highly emphasized here. Similarly, your work will be judged based on how effective it is in communicating the title to us, that is 'Brunei Darussalam as an Ideal Holiday Destination'.
